What Your Travel Agent Website Actually Needs (No Fancy Tools Required)
Dec 25, 2025
If building a website feels overwhelming, you’re not alone.
A lot of new travel advisors think they need:
- Expensive designers
- Fancy tech tools
- Tons of pages and features
But here’s what I tell my students inside Travel Genius Coaching:
You don’t need a complicated website. You need a clear one.
Let’s walk through what actually matters.

1. A simple homepage that says who you help and what you do
This doesn’t need to be flashy. It just needs to be clear. For example:
“I help busy families plan stress-free cruises and unforgettable Disney vacations.”
If someone lands on your site and thinks, “Yes, this is for me,” you’ve done your job.
2. An easy way to contact you
You don’t need a built-in scheduler or chat box (unless you want one). A basic contact form or email link is perfect.
Make it easy for someone to reach out with a question or request a quote.

3. A bit about you and your story
People buy from people. Share your “why,” your passion for travel, and how you help. This builds trust, especially if you’re newer and still growing your client list.
Don’t worry if your story feels simple. It’s yours, and that’s what matters.
Maybe you planned a life-changing trip that made you fall in love with travel. Or maybe, like me, you were a busy parent looking for flexibility and found it in this career.
Keep it short, warm, and true. You don’t need a long bio, just something that helps a potential client say, “I like her. I trust her.”

4. A clear call to action
Your call to action should match your business goals. Want more consultations? Invite them to schedule. Trying to grow your list? Offer a free resource.
A few examples:
- “Ready to plan your dream cruise? Let’s chat.” (Include an email or scheduling link)
- “Grab my free guide to the best family-friendly resorts.” (Include a download in exchange for their email)
- “Join my list for vacation inspiration straight to your inbox.” (Email opt-in form)
Keep it simple and action-focused. Just tell them what to do next.
Bonus: A photo of you!
Don’t hide behind a logo. Show your face. People are more likely to book with someone they feel connected to.
Still feel like you’re not ready?
Here’s the truth: your website doesn’t need to be perfect to be powerful.
You can launch with one page, one photo, and one way to contact you and still book clients.
Done is better than perfect. Clarity matters more than polish.
You don’t need a full-blown branding package to look professional. You need to be helpful, clear, and easy to trust.
