Below is an example of a commission statement for 1 room on a river cruise. That's almost $2200 in income from one booking! While every reservation won't pay quite that much, it's important to know that good money can be made in this business.

In addition, you can also earn commissions on hotels and resorts, shore excursions, travel insurance, and transfers. Therefore, if you follow up with recommendations for these services, you not only provide excellent service but also add to your overall income.
